My UX Design Internship at Vipps MobilePay
Overview
As a design intern, I worked to ensure a high-quality, consistent app experience across touchpoints and played a key role in designing new features most notably Ønskelister, which I helped take from early concept to polished, high-fidelity prototype. I conducted user research and usability tests, translating findings into actionable design improvements that enhanced both usability and user delight.I also planned and facilitated creative workshops in collaboration with UX Unite, bringing stakeholders together to align on direction and co-create solution. My deliverables ranged from prototypes, mockups, and wireframes to interactive flows, primarily using Figma, FigJam, and Maze. Throughout, I focused on balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives while thriving in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

My Contributions
My role centered on identifying usability gaps, improving user flows, and supporting the integration of new features while maintaining a high standard of user experience. I was given the opportunity to independently lead research and design tasks, collaborate across disciplines, and work with real users through structured testing and workshops. The following cases reflect my contributions to MobilePay’s ongoing development efforts and showcase how I translated design theory into practical, high-impact UX work.
